Resident Assistants and Financial Aid

Resident Assistants (RAs) are provided room and board as stipulated in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The value of RA room and board is considered when determining your financial aid eligibility. This amount will be used to first reduce/replace your student loans and/or your Federal Work-Study award, then decrease your GU expected family contribution, if federal financial aid regulations permit, before any adjustment is made to your Georgetown Scholarship.
