Summer Financial Aid for Undergraduates
Georgetown will “meet the full demonstrated financial need” of eligible undergraduates enrolled in the summer term with a combination of federal, University, externally sponsored, and other financial assistance, with a few exceptions noted below.

Who is eligible for need-based aid in the summer?
Georgetown University degree-seeking undergraduate students must demonstrate sufficient financial need and be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits during the summer term at Georgetown, including credits earned through a summer study abroad program with the Office of Global Education (OGE). Please note that your summer financial aid is subject to change based on various factors, such as departmental housing stipends, departmental scholarships, changes in summer enrollment, outside scholarships, and changes to credit hours. If you anticipate receiving any of the financial resources mentioned above, please contact your Georgetown financial aid advisor for assistance.
Summer financial aid award offers will be communicated to undergraduate students who have enrolled in summer classes at the end of March. There is no summer financial aid application required. Enrolled students will be notified via email when their summer award offer is available to view in GU Experience. Award offers will continue on a rolling basis throughout the summer.
For additional information about summer financial aid eligibility, please refer to the Common Questions and Answers about Summer Financial Aid.
