Future Leaders in Technology Scholarship

Amount: $2,500 + internship with Virtasant or $1,000
Eligibility: High School Senior, College or University student
pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science
Minimum GPA: N/A
Requirement: A member of an underrepresented group
(i.e. African American, Hispanic, Native American, LGBTQA+, Women)
Essay: 500-word essay in response to the following question:
What area of tech are you interested in studying and why? Tell us about a problem that you hope to solve by way of your future education and career in tech.
Deadline: Before January 1st and June 30th of every year

The Havenly Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Students 17 years of age or older from Austin, TX; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; New York, NY; and Washington, D.C. who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or certificate program at an accredited college or university for the 2023-24 academic year with an interest in a career in interior design or related study.
Minimum GPA: N/A
Requirement: Complete application and essay
Deadline: March 31st

The DC Scholars Program

Amount: $2,400/ year if attending a 4 year college, $1,200/ year in attending 2 year college
Eligibility: You must be a teen parent under the age of 25, seeking an undergraduate degree at a college in the DC Metropolitan area,  US Citizen, legal US Resident, or have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status or any other immigration status that allows you in-state tuition and work eligibility, proof of FAFSA application or DACA application, and taking a minimum of 6 credit hours.

Deadline: April 1, 2023

LA Tutors 123

Amount: $500
Eligibility: College or high school student with a minimum 3.0 GPA/ Must be a U.S  or Canada citizen, permanent resident or valid student visa. Must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others (website. Blogs, apps, fundraising events, etc.)
Minimum GPA: N/A
Requirement: Describe the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation.
Deadline: 20th of each month

Serped Scholarship Contest

Amount: $500
Eligibility: high school or college student
Minimum GPA: n/a
Requirement: video
Video: maximum 5 minute video on what excites you most about the world of digital marketing, an idea that you have that stands out in the crowd and what you have done to implement this idea in the world of digital marketing
Deadline: 30th of every month

OppU Achievers Scholarship

Amount: $2,500
Eligibility: high school student, undergraduate or graduate, US citizen
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Requirement: essay, application form
Essay: maximum 750 word essay on why financial literacy should be important to college students like yourself
Deadline: annually on September 30, December 31, March 31, June 30

Price It Here, Inc. Scholarship Program

Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: full time undergraduate in business, business management, advertising, sales, marketing or related fields
Minimum GPA: 3.5
Requirement: essay
Essay: minimum 1,500 word essay (see topics online)
Deadline: April 1 and October 1 annually

ExtremeTerrain’s Student Scholarship Program

Amount: $3,000
Eligibility: college student in environmental studies, environmental research, land us, earth and atmosphere studies, sustainable land management, parks and recreation, or sustainable agriculture systems
Minimum GPA: n/a
Requirement: essay
Essay: 700-1,500 word essay on who you are, why you feel like it is important to maintain access to public lands for recreational use and how you plan to use your degree to advocate for the recreational use of public lands
Deadline: June 15 and October 15 annually

Pickleball Pad Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Enrolled Undergraduate and Graduate students
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Requirement: Submission of essay
Essay: 1200 words

Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: college student or incoming

SmileTutor Quarterly College Student Scholarship

Amount: $2,000
Eligibility: college freshman, sophomore or incoming student

Washington, D.C. Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: student
Minimum GPA: n/a
Requirement: essay
Essay: 300-1,000 word essay on who has inspired your education the most and why
Deadline: November 15 or May 15, annually

MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship

Amount: $5,000
Eligibility: International and DACA Students
Minimum GPA: N/A
Requirement: The student must have been accepted or enrolled at a full-time program at a U.S. or Canadian school that is an MOWER Partner College or University. Must be an international student on F1 visa status, Green Card holder (permanent resident), or a DACA recipient, a Canadian permanent resident or Canadian study permit holder. Must be 18 years or older.
Deadline: July 15 and annually. Applications from one period do not rollover to the next. See Scholarship guidelines on the link provided.
