Want to Build Up Your Resume? GU Peer Counseling can Help!
The Georgetown University Peer Counselors are a group of highly trained students who, with the help of the Office of Student Financial Services, assist the student body in navigating through the financial aid process.
The program supports and guides Georgetown University’s newly-admitted and continuing student population by assisting them with their financial aid goals, from applying for aid to understanding their financial aid package, through one-on-one counseling, information sessions, and in-dorm assistance. The overarching goal is to supplement the efforts of the financial aid staff by reaching out to Georgetown students more directly and on their own level to provide them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to take control of their financial futures.
