Throughout the year, our office receives information about outside scholarship opportunities. You can view these scholarships below or search for others using a scholarship search engine. We update this page with new scholarships on a regular basis so be sure to check back often or sign up for our listserv to receive emails about these scholarship opportunities.

Essay: CleanEdison is looking for a bright young scholar to write a 750 word essay on the growth of the clean energy and energy efficiency sectors, the effects this will have on job creation and the need for skills training to meet this demand. The essays will be evaluated on the quality of writing and depth of research on the topic. The winning essay will be showcased on CleanEdison's website for one year and the student will receive a $500 scholarship.

Outside Scholarship Search Engines
The College Board began publishing their book of scholarships in 1997 and since then has made the information available online. Their scholarship database contains more than 2,300 scholarship opportunities, totaling nearly $3 billion. Website
CollegeNET is a technology company that builds web-based tools for event and academic scheduling, prospect and admissions management, tuition processing, and alumni development for colleges and universities. CollegeNET also operates a scholarship search engine and social network where students create topics, participate in discussions, and vote on scholarship winners. Website
Fastweb, which has helped 50 million students find money since the site was founded 15 years ago, was the first online scholarship matching service and the first free national scholarship matching service. Fastweb's site indicates they currently have roughly 1.5 million scholarships worth $3.4 billion in their database. Website
Scholarship Experts Scholarships provides frequently updated links to scholarship applications and programs for high school, college and grad school students throughout the year. You can also create a free scholarship search profile on their website. Website
Scholarships.com now claims to be the largest free and independent scholarship search and financial aid information resource on the Internet, with more than 2.7 million scholarships worth a total of $19 billion in their database. Website
